People around the world love rich, smooth and flavorful foods. Our Traditional Virginian Peanut Soup Mix is aromatic and loaded with nutrition and health benefits. Peanut soup most likely originated in West Africa after groundnuts were brought to the continent from South America. The warm, roasted peanut aroma reminds one of colonial taverns full of hearty cooking smells, boisterous laughter and song. The golden hue draws your eyes to the dish and brings your fingers closer to the spoon. You will hear the clanking of pewter utensils and tankards as you savor the colonial tradition. To make our soup you will need 32 ounces of chicken stock ( or vegetable stock if you prefer)

Heat chicken stock. Add the peanut soup mix, blend well, and cook over medium heat until thickened. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
